I must say it was an interesting experience to do a video interview. Lord knows I am not shy, so that wasn’t the problem, but to do an interview in front of your computer without knowing it was going to be a video interview was different to say the least. The first thing you realize is “what do I do with my hands?” The second thing you think is “should I look at the camera or do I look at the computer screen?” In my case, I have two screens and the large screen that I used to look at my interviewer was not connected to the camera. So I ended up looking uncomfortable looking away the whole time. However, I really enjoyed it. I really tried to answer the questions as best as I could. I always love a little attention and I obviously love giving my opinion, so this was right up my alley.
